SQUEEZE THE LAST DROP OUT OF THAT EXPENSIVE MUSTARD
August 18th 2011 22:53
If you are a gourmet mustard fan, you know the good stuff is
not cheap. There are a lot of great gourmet mustards available online and on the shelves.
But girl, isn't it a shame when you wake up with the munchies
in the pre-dawn hours with a hankering for a hefty sandwich
with damn good mustard on it. You open your fridge, build
the sandwich, rub the sleep from your eyes as you peer into
the seemingly empty jar of Grey Poupon.
Don't you hate when that happens? So do we at Bargain Value,
especially when we have friends hanging out for the evening.
So here's what we do to coax that last mustard seed out of
the jar........the dark reaches where a knife just won't cut the
mustard.
Take your seemingly depleted mustard jar. Add two tablespoons
of water. Secure the cap. Shake the jar with extreme vigor.
Remove the cap. DElicately, pour your new mustard sauce on
your sandwich bread. The bread or roll will absorb the moisture and
excellent flavor.
With this method, not only have you helped recycle useable food
products but saved yourself some money as well.
Why be wasteful?
