BEWARE CVS PHARMACY PRICING
April 20th 2011 21:48
If you happen to shop at the U.S based, CVS pharmacy chain,
beware of their pricing. What you select from the shelf, at the
price indicated, may ring up at a much higher price at the register.
This has happened to me, not once, not twice but a multitude
of times at their stores. If not for my price awareness sense,
I would have paid the inflated price and walked out with my
purchase.
Each time, I'm forced to send the hapless register person back
to check the shelf price, they invariably offer up this lame
excuse, "it must have rung up wrong."
Well, gee thanks, you used cost me an extra seven minutes of
my valuable time today. Can't you fix your faulty pricing
computer systems!!!!
The moral of this true story boys & girls is the next time you
find yourself shopping at CVS, or any store for that matter,
bring a small notepad with you to jot down the shelve price
with the register receipt price before you settle your purchase.
Time consuming? Yes? Money-saving? Of course it is.
