CONSIDER DECLARING A "NO DRIVE DA
May 13th 2010 19:32
With the ever escalating price of petrol infecting
world markets on a daily basis due to natural disasters,
corporate neglect, violence and the ceaseless greed of
commodity traders, one major way to combat this
tyranny is to declare "No Drive Days" for yourself &
loved ones.
Try picking at least one day per week to declare your
personal NO DRIVE DAY. Leave the gas-sucking ICE
(internal combustion engine) driven motor vehicle in the
garage. Let it rest for at least one day.
As an alternative, try hoofing it, cycling, bumming a ride
with friends and just plain staying at home for a change.
Think of how much money you'll save each year by doing this,
and of course, the positive results this will have for the planet
we commonly call "Earth." Not to mention, sending the greed
monger oil companies, the message "We're not gonna take it
anymore!"
As soon as electric cars become massed produced we can
tell BP, Shell, Exxon, Mobil, Chevron and the rest of those
clowns to take their oil and shove it where the sun don't shine!
