CUT CELL PHONE CHARGES
February 9th 2010 12:28
Let's face it the cell phone business is a racket, one loaded
with "gotcha" charges. What's the captive overcharged
consumer to do?
First and foremost renegotiate your current contract if
it is filled with surcharges and fees. Talk to the little
cutsy girls in the AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and other stores
who hawk these terrible contracts. Break the contract,
if you have to, and make an offer to settle the balance due
for these than the full amount.
Get rid of texting and email functions, use your laptop instead
at Wi-Fi hot spots.
Forget about entering in to another contract. Opt for a prepaid
plan instead where the amount is clearly defined. And of course,
study the fine print closely!
