FREE STUFF FROM FRIENDS & RELATIVES
June 4th 2010 12:31
It pays to pay attention to cues from friends and relatives
when they are headed towards a life-changing situation.
Take moving for instance.
Typically when someone moves they have a burning desire
to get rid of years of accumulated treasures so they don't
have to lug it to their new abode. Some of it may be useful
in your place, or perhaps you know a venue to sell an item for
some quick cash.
Meanwhile you are helping your friend save money by not paying
moving or dumping fees. Plus, your relative would probably rather
have you have one of their castoff possessions than seeing it
kicked to the curb if it still has a use.
Many items can easily be sold by placing an inexpensive classified
ad in local shopper papers. And then of course, there is E-Bay
or other online sites to try.
