MAKE NEWSPAPER FIREPLACE LOGS

With the dreary days of late autumn almost upon us
in the northern hemisphere, there's nothing like an
inviting fireplace fire to take the chill out of the home.
As a supplement to traditional split hardwood for
fireplace fuel, newspaper logs add a bit more
warmth and help to ignite damp wood.
Rather than recycling the voluminous Sunday
Times, try tightly rolling up each read section,
tie with a small piece of string and toss the
ready-to-burn manmade log onto the andirons
when desired.
You may find the color "funny pages" add a little
