SAVE ON CHRISTMAS TREES
December 9th 2009 19:44
If you absolutely must have a Christmas tree in your home
this month, we have a few tips for you to save your hard
earned your hard earned dinero. We'll move from extreme
to moderate tips, from the left branch to the right branch
of Christmas tree buying.
Tip 1: Do you have a large potted house plant like a
hibiscus or perhaps a palm tree? Try decorating
that with a string or two of lights and do-dads.
Tip 2: Fake trees that come in a box are great. You
can use them year after year. And they don't
require watering! (Pine tree scents in a can
are available if you must have that woodsy
sent.)
Tip 3: Wait till Christmas Eve to buy a live tree. By that
time, many retailers and especially drive-by-night
street tree salesmen are ready to cut you a great
deal. They know by the morrow they'll be stuck
with unsold, worthless cut trees.
WISHING YOU AND YOURS A FRUGAL CHRISTMAS!
