SAVE ON SANDWICH BAGS
October 22nd 2009 13:36
There's really no need to spend brown bag lunch dollars on those
expensive ziplock plastic sandwich bags or aluminum foil wrap
for that matter. Instead consider using this throw away item that
is actually designed to keep bread fresh:
What packaging does almost every household have on the
kitchen counter on any given day of the week. Take a look
around your toaster right now.
Do you see a store bought loaf of bread, english muffins,
bagels or rolls standing by, in their nice little plastic bags
with the twist tie closure?
Do you usually toss the bread bag away after eating all the bread?
Why not save the bread, english muffin, roll, or bagel bag and twist
tie next time?
Fold and stash the perfectly good bread bags in a kitchen draw.
Next time you need to wrap a sandwich, simply reach for your
recycled bread bag drawer rather than for an expensive name
brand sandwich bag.
Odds are you would throw both the expensive sandwich bag or
aluminum foil wrap away after eating your sandwich at the office,
so why not throw away (or even bring it back home again for even
more use) the noble, durable bread, roll, bagel, or english muffin bag
instead.
Think of the money you'll save on an annual basis using this method
especially if you are packing up children's lunches every weekday.
