SPAGHETTI SQUASH=MANY MEALS
September 13th 2011 23:19
Ah yes, the humble, yet overlooked vegetable commonly
known as the "spaghetti squash."
So reasonably priced in many parts of the world, yet casually
discarded as BORING.
However, these giant-sized vitamin and mineral packed,
noble members of the veggie kingdom can easily provide
two, perhaps three or even 4 meals per squash.
Simply split them in half--carefully with a big knife or cleaver--
top the halves off with a little olive oil; add a bit of spice if you
like and pop them in the oven at 350 F for about a half hour.
SO fresh, so good, so healthy, so easy to do, so inEXPENSIVE!
When it's done, you simple spoon out the serving you would
like for that meal. It's surprising how fast these noble veggies
fill you up in a heath-packed manner.
Refrigerate the leftovers. Scoop out as needed for your next meal.
Get adventurous, try these babies for breakfast.
